Orrin Woodward uncovers the lies of the Financial Matrix we’re in

Last week Orrin Woodward made free to the public, on his personal Youtube Channel, a video from one of our recent leadership workshop weekends. In the video it has him discussing what is called Financial Freedom, the Financial Matrix and how it affects us all, including those that think that “Money is not all that important….” and yet they go to work 5 times a week for about 8 hours a day…. <shakes head stunned>

He brings up that we should learn “Financial Literacy” to help solve one of our biggest problems, one that most people don’t realize they have, and yet feel the effects of constantly.  He expands on the talk, that I’m proud to say, many of us have been sharing for years around kitchen tables and meeting rooms.  Better yet, I love when new people just start to learn for themselves go out and start to share with others!

In the video Orrin teaches principles from from the same Green Box we’ve been given the privilege to use and help ourselves, and share with others.  Now let’s get out there and talk about the Green Box.

Enjoy the video below , share it, and remember to check out Orrin’s New Biography page and regularly his Blog for a continuous flow of practical knowledge and wisdom.  Let’s just say he tends to write a little more often then I do.

Have any of you benefited from the following some of the Financial principles talked about? How so?

Orrin Woodward $3 Million Secret Deal Exposed!

Orrin Woodward’s Three Million Dollar Secret deal exposed!

Orrin Woodward claims he does not like special deals or signing bonuses and yet he allegedly signed a 3 million dollar signing bonus with Monavie after he left Quixtar. I did some research to discover the facts, facts that I’m sure many would find shocking to say the least.

Orrin has never written or discussed publicly what he did with the signing bonus… to respect the wishes of the MonaVie owners

I have been business partners with Orrin Woodward for over 10 years now and have been in the Direct Sales industry for 23 years. I have seen and experienced a lot, but one of the most surprising and actually refreshingly honourable things I have seen is how Orrin handled a difficult and complex situation. In Quixtar, Orrin and Laurie had built a massive fast growing organization. Along with Chris and Terri Brady, they pioneered the “Team Approach” to building depth and perfected a duplicatable system. Nonetheless, the thing they did, that had the greatest impact and attracted the most people was the equitable compensation programs they developed.

One of the biggest components of joining with Monavie was a 3 million dollar signing bonus…

I know this because I was one of the people who was attracted to the system they created. Not just because it paid a lot of money and was efficient, but mainly because it was fair! Unlike every other training organization, I didn’t need a special deal or a backroom bargain to succeed. I just wanted to be on an even playing field and have transparency and that’s what Orrin and Chris provided.

I feel it’s time to reveal the secret because it explains why so many people follow Orrin, namely, his character

In late 2008, after sitting out of the industry for almost a year, Orrin and Chris worked out an agreement for Orrin’s large organization to work with Monavie. They did so because Quixtar refused to settle the numerous lawsuits against Orrin’s leaders, thus starting their own company was put on hold and helping the community survive was the number one priority. This included not only the large group Orrin had built, but also the people like me, who had built large organizations and wanted to be a part of what Orrin’s community. Without Orrin’s leadership I would never have been interested in joining Monavie, but realized without MonaVie’s support, Quixtar would bankrupt Orrin and Chris like they had other leaders in the past. I followed Orrin and Chris because of all the things I liked about them and how they conducted their lives and business.

…without MonaVie’s support, Quixtar would bankrupt Orrin and Chris like they had other leaders in the past…

One of the biggest components of joining with Monavie was a 3 million dollar signing bonus that Orrin received as a result of the large amount of business following him into Monavie, volume that Monavie would never have received without Orrin. This number is so big, it sounds like a pro sports signing bonus!! MonaVie originally asked Orrin to keep the signing bonus secret, but Orrin said he must tell his Policy Council, as they are involved in the policy decisions. The real question is: What did he do with the money? Orrin didn’t go buy a new boat or take a trip around the world vacation, which is something I probably would have probably done!! He put it into an account that he literally had no signing authority on to make it available to pay other’s legal bills.

At the time, “The Team” was incurring massive legal bills in their battle with Quixtar, and Orrin’s focus was on maintaining the community’s financial solvency. This signing bonus would make the difference between survival or bankruptcy for many on his team. I personally have friends in the business, some in my own team that had their legal bills paid for just because they were part of Orrin’s organization. And when the 3 million ran out, and the leadership of the team had smaller incomes because the legal bills needed to get paid, the office tracked those contributions and payed them back fully! I know this because I saw it with my own eyes. Also I asked the one person who did have signing authority for that account and he confirmed what I had heard was true!

My main point in all this is that Orrin has never written or discussed publicly what he did with the signing bonus. He has kept this information private to respect the wishes of the MonaVie owners. Now that MonaVie is no longer operating, however, I feel it’s time to reveal the secret because it explains why so many people follow Orrin, namely, his character.

Orrin’s success in business earned him a bonus, that many people would have used for their own pleasure and I wouldn’t blame them; instead Orrin used that bonus to make sure we survived our legal battles and had a business to build in the future. I know what I write is true, because I was one of those Policy Council members that Orrin notified when he signed for the 3 million dollar bonus. Now, the reader knows the rest of the story.

Today as I sit here and write this blog post I look around and know I am amazingly blessed in so many ways, one of them is having a friend and business partner that is selfless and has priorities higher then just padding his bank account.

…because it paid a lot of money and was efficient, but mainly because it was fair!

Often times I get asked why LIFE doesn’t pay big bonuses to leaders bringing large organizations in from other businesses. The reason is LIFE isn’t looking for a quick buck or quick fix. We want to spread truth and impact lives thru our “Green Box” revolution. Everyone gets the same deal. They start just like everyone else does. I have never seen someone enroll and get offered a better deal from LIFE than anyone else. I always tell people to do whats best for the newest person, and in the long term, its what will be best for the team and your own personal success.

This is why as the LIFE grows around the world, serving tens of thousands of people.

When someone says something petty to me about Orrin Woodward, I can always reflect back upon the many examples of him doing the right thing because it was the right thing, doing what was best for the team instead of himself repeatedly. It’s never difficult to discover where Orrin will fall land on any topic because he focuses on what is the principle at stake and follows the principle, every time.

Orrin Woodward’s 3 million dollar secret has been revealed and, not surprisingly, the secret confirms, yet again, why I follow Orrin Woodward. I follow Orrin not because of the many accolades he has received, but because he lives a principle-centered life and inspires me to do the same.

LIFE on LIFE teams up with Literacy Nova Scotia

Hi everyone!

I hope your new year is off to a great start. I know mine is!

ME WITH JAYNE HUNTER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AT LITERACY NOVA SCOTIA

On Saturday, January 9, the LIFE on LIFE Initiative teamed up with Literacy Nova Scotia to host the inaugural book packing and delivery event. Over 2,000 books were donated by First Book Canada, a nonprofit organization. Through LIFE on LIFE donations and volunteer work, we were able to cover the shipping and delivery costs. Members of both the local and LIFE community came out to help prepare the books for delivery. Books were each labeled with a LNS sticker, and LNS bookmarks and activity books were added to each delivery box. Afterward, fifteen drivers delivered the books to locations across Nova Scotia—from Yarmouth to Cape Breton and everywhere in between! Literacy Nova Scotia shared an awesome video that highlights some key aspects of the event.

DARREN FISHER, MATT WHITMAN, BILL HORN, DARRELL SAMSON

Journalists and news crews from Global and CBC also showed up. It’s so great to see the public support for such an important cause as it helps to shine a light on the value of family literacy.

Some local politicians attended the event as well: HRM Deputy Mayor Matt Whitman, Councillor in HRM District 13; Darrell Samson, MP Sackville-Preston-Chezzetcook; and Darren Fisher, MP Dartmouth-Cole Harbour all made an appearance. Bill Horne, MLA Waverly-Fall River-Beaverbank, attended as well, representing the province on behalf of the premier;

In addition to the book delivery, over fifty event attendees registered to be members of Literacy Nova Scotia, many of whom also included donations with their membership fees. If you want to become a LNS member, you can sign up here for just five dollars!

I’m so grateful to all who participated in the event, especially the drivers. It couldn’t have happened without your support. I’m so passionate about literacy, and I really believe it begins at home, so I couldn’t be more thrilled with how well Saturday went. This event is just the beginning, and I’m looking forward to a long relationship with Literacy Nova Scotia. Together we can bring change!

Family Literacy Day is January 27, and I can’t wait to celebrate with my boys and some of our favorite books. What do you have planned for Family Literacy Day?

LIFE on LIFE supports Literacy Nova Scotia

Hi everyone!
On Monday, the LIFE Leadership blog shared an exciting post announcing the recent donation we made to Literacy Nova Scotia. On November 23, I was able to present Jayne Hunter and Marie David of Literacy NS with a cheque for $11,000! It was such a great feeling to know that the money from the LIFE on LIFE Initiative is being put toward such a great cause. Literacy NS is a powerful organization and I’m confident the money we have donated, and continue to donate, will be used to have a positive impact on our local community.
You can read the original post below.
Thanks!

Life Leadership Makes Large Contribution to Literacy Nova Scotia

BY

“Literacy is one of the greatest gifts a person can receive.” – Jen Selinsky

Life Leadership‘s Life on Life Initiative has inspired thousands of people to give back to organizations that support underprivileged and disenfranchised members of society. Life Leadership Members have been getting involved in unique and creative ways, some through community service outreach programs and others by organizing events that provide necessities such as food, clothing and hygiene items. As part of Life Leadership’s corporate Life on Life Initiative, CEO Chris Brady announced that the company would be contributing funds on a monthly basis to qualifying literacy centers in the company’s various markets at the rate of $1 donated for each Life Leadership subscription.

In August of 2015, Chris Brady and COO Rob Hallstrand presented the first check totaling over $11,000 to the Triangle Literacy Council in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since then, several other literacy programs have benefited financially from these corporate contributions. In fact, this literacy initiative even inspired Life Leadership co-founder, Claude Hamilton, to get involved.

Hamilton stated recently that he is so passionate about literacy that he has decided to personally contribute time, money and influence to support the cause. That’s when he sought out Literacy Nova Scotia – a non-profit charitable organization that provides services to ensure that all Nova Scotians have equal access to quality literacy, essential skills and lifelong learning opportunities.

During the first week of November, Hamilton and several of his teammates participated in Literacy Action Week in order to help raise awareness on the importance of literacy.

In working closely with Literacy Nova Scotia, Hamilton realized how much good they were doing to support and promote literacy that on November 23rd, 2015, he presented the first check to the organization – totaling $11,000. This donation was just a portion of the funds provided by Life Leadership as part of the company’s corporate Life on Life Initiative.

“Life Leadership is delighted to be able to provide funding to the very important fight to improve literacy in Canada. We are honored to be able to contribute and hope this is only the beginning of a huge difference we can make together!” – Chris Brady

Check out this highlight video of the partnership between Life Leadership and Literacy Nova Scotia:

Life Leadership has already poured tens of thousands of dollars into various literacy programs for its Life on Life Initiative; however, what’s even more exciting is the ripple effect that is already being felt all over North America. We are so thankful for the leadership of co-founder, Claude Hamilton, for actively carrying the torch to improve literacy in Nova Scotia in order to make an even bigger difference for those who need help functioning in society.

Building Confidence and Character

Throughout our lives, we’ll all experience adversity—in our personal lives, our careers, or both. We meet adversity when we learn to take our first breath, and we encounter it again and again for the rest of our lives. Not only is adversity a great test of character, it’s often what motivates us to keep trying until we get it right.

But there are a couple of other things, namely power and mistakes, that test character, and have the potential to reveal much more about a person than adversity ever could.

POWER

When you’ve got everything you need and the ability to get pretty much whatever you want, it can be easy to lose sight of what’s important. As Abraham Lincoln said, “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”

In Plato’s Republic, he writes about a discussion he had with several men. One of those men is named Glaucon, and he argues that “no man would keep his hands off that which was not his own if he could safely take what he liked.” It’s a sad argument that leaves no room for common human decency.

Of course, people will always be tempted to take the easy way out, but someone with true character will resist that temptation and find the honest, fair way to get what they want or need. In fact, I’d go one step further and say that many people in power will consciously avoid using that power in an abusive or negative way, because they’re fully aware of how easy it is to become corrupted.

MISTAKES

How we respond to our mistakes can give away a lot about our character. In his novel Confessor, Terry Goodkind, a successful fantasy writer, says, “I’m afraid that we all make mistakes. One of the things that define our character is how we handle mistakes. If we lie about having made a mistake, then it can’t be corrected and it festers. On the other hand, if we give up just because we made a mistake, even a big mistake, none of us would get far in life.”

And he’s right. I believe that mistakes are opportunities. They’re the wake-up call that tells us we’re doing something wrong and forces us to start over again, with a different approach.

Taking responsibility for mistakes is key to improving character. When we own up to our errors, we’re free to move on, and fix whatever caused the mistake in the first place. And when character is built in this way, we also benefit from increased self-confidence. As journalist Joan Didion wrote in On Self Respect, “Character—the willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own life—is the source from which self-respect springs.”

Enjoy your weekend everyone!
